Development Log - First alpha

**General:**

- Added a new ship, bringing the total number of playable ships to 3.

- Introduced new items such as shields and heat sinks to enhance ship capabilities.

- Ships and items are now unlocked through Hangar upgrades in the station menu.

**Battles:**

- Implemented a heat bar for ships. The heat bar increases after every shot fired but gradually cools down over time.

- If the heat bar reaches its maximum capacity, the ship overheats, requiring the player to wait until the bar goes below 50% before firing again.

- Occasionally, larger asteroids will spawn, providing a greater challenge during battles.

- Added an explosion effect after the player's ship is destroyed.

- Included a sound effect for ship overheating.

- Shields that regenerate.

- Armor and shield bars.

**Progression System:**

- Revised the progression system. Currently, all station modules are unlocked from the start, but this may be subject to change in future updates.

- Players now have the option to skip the tutorial for a more streamlined experience.

- The start is a bit slower now, I work on a better solution.

- Ore takes less room now, leading to a higher drone capacity, this is the main reason for the slower start, it takes longer to fill the cargo hold.

**NPC System:**

- NPCs have been improved and now play a more significant role. They shoot asteroids, contributing to belt security.

- Enhanced the trading system, resulting in a quicker and more diverse selection of items available in the station.

**Bug Fixes:**

- Addressed numerous bugs in battles and the item system.

- Fixed issues where certain asteroids could not be destroyed.

- Improved overall functionality of the market system.
